Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the treatment of bilge water by membrane bioreactor. The highest value of COD removal, turbidity, TDS, TSS and color at HRT of 48 h are of 91.96, 99.85, 97.48, 100 and 100%, respectively. Also, the neural network was used to predict membrane bioreactor effluent. Multilayer perceptron was used, which showed a great fit. For TCOD, the best algorithm was Levenberge-marquardt with mean R and MSE of 0.9962 and 2.8179, respectively and for turbidity, the Levenberge-marquardt algorithm with mean R and MSE was 0.9734 and 0.00092, respectively.
