In December 2021, the Municipality of Rasht in Iran hosted the first National Conference on Transportation and Traffic Engineering. The conference aimed to promote the development of traffic engineering, increase road safety, enhance the knowledge of researchers and engineers, address traffic problems, and suggest efficient methods to reduce travel time delays. The conference focused on various aspects of traffic engineering and was held at the Municipality of Rasht.
